Terms of Purchase

3.         All U.K. orders are subject to V.A.T. (value added tax) at the current rate of 20.0%. This also applies to postage, except for books and magazines which are zero rated. Overseas orders from EC and  non-EC member countries are zero rated for V A T.

3a.       Overseas orders may be subject to your local customs/tax charges. We are unable to  advise or accept liability for these charges.

4.         Whilst every effort is made to maintain prices and specifications, we reserve the right to make changes in availability, prices and specifications without notice.
We reserve the right to invoice goods at the prices ruling at the date of despatch.

5.         Return or exchange of goods must be accompanied by proof of purchase, and in an unused and undamaged state. Goods ordered incorrectly may be exchanged subject to a 20% charge to cover administration. Goods must be returned by the Buyer at the Buyer's expense and should be adequately insured during the return journey.

6.         Whilst every care has been taken to describe our goods correctly. Any errors are unintentional and will be amended if you advise us accordingly.

            CA = please Check Availability, some sizes are becoming very difficult to obtain

11.       Enquiries for items not listed in the catalogue are welcome.

12.       Claims for non-delivery must be made within 7 days of invoice date.
            Claims for shortages and/or damage must be made in writing within 3 days of delivery.

13.       Where a claim of defect or damage is made the Goods shall be returned by the Buyer to the Seller. The Buyer shall be entitled to a full refund (including delivery costs) plus any return postal charges if the Goods are in fact defective.

14.       Parts supplied that are not in our normal stock range, or manufactured to order cannot be retuned for exchange or refund.

15.       Credit notes on returned goods are valid for a period of 12 months only. After this period the amount will be written off. Please note that credits cannot be raised for goods after 60 days from invoice date.

16.         PLEASE check your parcel upon delivery BEFORE signing as transport companies will not be held responsible for damaged items after they have been signed for.

17.       Pipe sizes for fittings - the pipe sizes for all fittings are the pipe outside diameter – OD unless specified otherwise.

18.       The material markets are very volatile with price fluctuations that are currently unpredictable. All prices in this catalogue are subject to change without notice.  We reserve the right to invoice goods at the prices ruling at the date of despatch. Prices quoted are valid for 7 days only.
